I am Monir Hossain Chowdhury from Bangladesh. My academic degrees are M.Sc. Environmental Science, M.Sc. Fisheries, B.Sc. (Hon's.) Zoology. Presently I am working as an "Environment and Climate Change Specialist" for the National River Conservation under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of Bangladesh, and I have worked for the last 25 years with the Government, INGOs, and UN organizations in the area of Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Monitoring, Biodiversity Conservation, Habitat Restoration, etc.

Enrolment in the GEDS will hopefully increase my understanding and skills. My learning from GEDS contributes to adopting the faded ecological conditions of the rivers of Bangladesh and around the earth. I'm looking forward to learning and interacting with you all.
